Aug. 12, 2008. One family is staying at Motel 6 (about $50 for two) and other at Days Inn (about $60) both in Fort Wayne. These are about 26-30 miles south of the fairgrounds. There are a number of restaurants near these motels.

Note: Due to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival in Auburn, IN over Labor Day weekend, most hotels are full. The only alternative is to look north or west of Kendallville for a room. Call us if you cannot find a room, we might have some suggestions;

Hotel reservations should be made as far in advance as possible as Kendallville motels do fill up during both festivals.
